El Cajon’s CBD-Infused Fish Tacos

Outside of San Diego, in the small town of El Cajon, the weather is hot, the Cerveza is cold and the fish tacos have a little extra ingredient to make everyone feel better. These CBD-infused fish tacos from Southern California will have you dreaming of the west coast sunshine no matter where you are located.

  • 4-6 tablespoons CBD olive oil (for coating)
  • ½ tablespoon CBD olive oil (for cooking)
  • Lime juice (1 lime)
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 ½ lb. cod
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8 - 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 2 cups shredded purple cabbage
  1. Using a medium sized bowl, mix CBD olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, ground cumin, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Coat the fish in the mixture evenly. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Season both sides of the fish with salt and pepper.
  3. Using a large pan, heat CBD olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Cook the fish for three to five minutes per side. Let rest for about 5 minutes before and then flake with a fork.
  5. Using a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice, and cilantro. Mix in cabbage and add salt and pepper for seasoning.
  6. Place fish on grilled tortillas with cabbage and avocado (if desired). Squeeze lime juice on top.
Add lime wedges and garnish with sour cream.
